This Ugandan artisan (Angela) has created a lovely chevron pattern with a mixture of creams and browns sisal and papyrus strands. Can hold a large potted plant of serve as a waste basket in your office. Would work for dog or kitty toys too. Angela made this basket as a part of the Women’s Empowerment Project in Muko, Uganda. In addition to paying her wages, the program will use your investment through purchasing this item to pay for children’s education (it’s not free in Uganda) among other projects.
